Dr. Oliver Häussler is a Neurology Senior Consultant in Schulthess Klinik in Zurich, Switzerland. Since January 2010, he is working alternately two weeks in Zurich and two weeks in Cairo.

Covering the full range of neurology, his special interest lies in the field of the spinal disorders and peripheral neurology, i.e. problems involving nerves, muscles, joints and bones.

In his clinic, Dr. Häussler offers patients a medical assessment consisting of a thorough medical examination, and, when needed, further electrophysiological studies to measure the function of the spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles.

Furthermore,  x-ray guided infiltrations into joints and nerves particularly on the spine are used for diagnostic as well as treatment purposes.

Dr. Häussler is a member of the Swiss Medical Association, the Swiss Neurological Association, the American Academy of Neurology and the Swiss Society of Interventional Pain Management. He is licensed as well in Egypt and is a member of the Egyptian Medical Association.

He has additional training in manual medicine and sports medicine, and has been working since year 2000 as a medical officer for the FIFA doping control department, which led lately to his participation in the Egypt 2009 U-20 FIFA World Cup.
